What a weekend! Thanks to everyone who joined us at the 2016 BC Home + Garden Show and helped support this great event. From the celebrity presentations to the gardening workshops, and of course all of our wonderful exhibitors, this was one of our best shows ever!
Weren't able to make it to BC Place February 17-21? Don't worry, we can help catch you up! It was hard, but we were able to narrow down our top four moments from the show. Check 'em out below and get up to speed on this fabulous affair.
4. Ultimate Upcycle Challenge: Planted
We tasked local tastemakers, trendsetters, and bloggers with transforming rescued items from ReStore Vancouver into unique planters. Made using supplies from Rust-Oleum Consumer Brands Canada, these one-of-a-kind pots were put up for silent auction with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity Great Vancouver.
3. The Vancouver Sun's Gardeners' School
The Vancouver Sun's gardening editor, Steve Whysall, held daily seminars to help attendees grow their green thumbs, reconnect with their garden plots, and get ready for spring.
2. Westcoast Smart Home
Trinity Post & Panel Inc. proved that you don't need a big space to have a big impact. Their 1120-square foot recreational beauty, the Westcoast Smart Home, was the talk of the show. Featuring modern post and beam construction and the highest energy efficiency in the business, this space was the best of both worlds.

The 2016 BC Home + Garden Show was an all-star event. Our Main Stage was taken over by Bryan Baeumler, Carson Arthur, Leigh-Ann Allaire Perrault, Amanda Forrest, Kendall Ansell, Jamie Banfield. Sarah Gallop, Denise Wild, Christine Friend, and more! With experts sharing tons of tips, advice and ideas on all things home-related, attendees definitely learned a lot.
